Аbout the artist


Evgeny Yachny (b.1988) is a member of the Artists' Union of Russia since 2018.

He graduated with honors from the Nikolai Roerich Art College in St. Petersburg, and later graduated Magna Cum Laude from from the Repin State Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, where

he defended with great success his thesis work Militia.


He was selected to attend the Russian Academy of Fine Arts creative workshop of monumental painting led by an Honored Artist of Russia academician Vera Mylnikova.

You can find Evgeny's art in the Hermitage-Vyborg state gallery and in numerous private collections and businesses in Russia and abroad.


Eugeny has created monumental wall paintings for the Government House in St. Petersburg and Pavlovsk, and also has created the portrait gallery in the Arch of the General Staff Building of the Military Prosecutor's Office in St. Petersburg.


Awards:

- 11-time winner of the "Youth of St. Petersburg" exhibitions;

-  the "Young Talents" Prize of the St. Petersburg Government (2010);

- Laureate of the award of patron Igor Minakov (1st and 2nd degree in 2012 and 2016);

- Scholarship holder of the President of the Russian Federation;

- praised by the Artists' Union of Russia for his great contribution to the development of fine arts in Russian Federation (2016);

- "Repin Prize" medal (2017);

 - Winner of the Vyacheslav Zarenkov All-Russian "Creative World" Art Award (2020).

2015 – Winner of the “70 Years of the Victory” exhibition in the Exhibition Hall of the Artists' Union of St. Petersburg and the Alexander Herzen University of St. Petersburg.

2015 – Participant of the All-Russian exhibition of young artists in Omsk, Russia.

2016, 2017 – Winner of the “Artists for Clean Water” All-Russian competition in Sochi;
